I have no idea what this new motor setup is going to do. Guess we will all find out together. Since I decompressed from 11:1 to 10:1, that is what has me baffled on the outcome. That and the ported heads with larger valves and ported lower intake manifold. Those are the big changes.

I don't know if I can make that on 24psi of boost. We shall find out. If I get into the 9xx's, I will stop at 24psi of boost. My wastegates springs are 12psi, 24psi-25psi is about the limit of my external gates without a spring change.

Are you still running on pump e85? So something around 78% ethanol?

Not this time. I will be on Ignite Red. It is what folks call Ignite E90.

E-90=114 octane!

Yeap, Ethanol One is 117 octane.

Decided on the APR GTC300 wing with gurney flap! Super excited, going to order here shortly. But to compliment that downforce in the rear, anyone know if the APR front splitter can be chassis mounted? Have seen too many TT Z's have those things fly off once they get over 130 bc it's just attached to the bumper. lol Trying to avoid that.

With the APR splitter. You have to make your own frame mounts.

:iagree:

If you have the Fast Intentions crash bar, the rods come up way short. Jarred/AkumaZ made his own vertical mounts that I believe are sandwiched under the crash bar.

Also, 9 Lives Racing just released a splitter for the 370Z. You may want to check it out, too.

The real bonus factor is that the tuner can add as much timing as the want with out fear detention.

Mark and I have had a long conversation about this. E85 will detonate and you won't pick it up on your knock sensor. His recommendation is to only run E85 out of the barrel on high boost for consistency. He has seen many blown up engines that when he takes it apart, he finds detonation traces and then finds out they were on pump E85. Pump E85 is just not consistent enough to risk your engine over. I will stay at 17psi of boost on pump E85.

Won't your ethanol gauge show the consistency? My gauge shows consistent e83 from the station I go to.

9 Lives Racing. It's for a Nismo V2 bumper. Just a splitter. No mounts or hardware. Have to make your own.

It is the other stuff in there that you can't read that is the problem.

Agreed! My comment was strictly regarding Ignite 114 or similar race ethanol. Ignite and others have other additives which also help.
