And more.
|
LOL, I am having fun....
|
My favorite drum solo, ever....
|
Got down to a little over 1/4 tank and filled up with 10 gallons of Ignite Red. E content went from E74-75 to E81. I didn't drive enough out. LOL I am normally on E87-E88 on Ignite Red. Time to burn 10 more gallons out. I need to get below 1/4 tank this time.
|
I guess I forgot how much a pain in the butt it is to get the Ethanol content up since I have been running Ignite Red all the time since the new engine installation.
|
You got to get it down to a couple of dots!

I know each car depends....but when I run mine down to a dot I got about .5 to a gallon of fuel left.

She is running good. Ignite Red just makes everything run better. E81 and she is just starting to wake up.

Well, I hope I fixed my shifter knob loosening up issue. Just a dab of blue Loctite/thread sealer on the bottom of the threads. Fingers crossed.

My ID 1700cc injectors do better on Ignite Red and higher Ethanol content. They act funky when the content is lower. I guess it is just a larger injector issue. Also may be the reason why Seb likes to use ID 1300's and doesn't care for the larger injectors. So if you get ID 1700's, You are going to be a full time Ethanol car for sure.
Ah crap, we did raise my base fuel pressure up a bit since I was going for bigger numbers. I guess this is what made my idle issues more pronounced. No worries. E81 and the idle is smooth as silk. |

Even on 1300s I notice a difference with higher ethanol content. Car just runs more crisp and seems to deliver the power more linear. Ignite red is the bees knees but for daily driven tt Z it’s a bit outa budget Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
My base fuel pressure was at 42psi before. We bumped it to 52psi to gain some overhead with my injectors. Didn't want to run out of fuel. I always wondered why MA had my base fuel pressure at 42psi.

I did learn one thing about Ecutek boost by gear. I had fuel starve yesterday on a right hand turn because I was below half a tank. Nick has a bunch of safeties running and it locked me out to wastegate boost pressure on all gears. Freaked me out. I was looking all over for a boost leak. Turned the car off and filled up with fuel. Went for another drive and Wham, all was back to normal.

Congrats :yum: |
Just ran through 8 more gallons. 3rd 55 gallons drum is empty. I got two full 55 gallon drums left. E84, this is brutal but fun! LOL

The mad dash to get everything done so I can go roll racing. Heading to pick up my new to me rear wheels and tires this weekend. Thanks Solidus.... I am gonna need them the following weekend.
|
I pray it doesn't rain. That would be my luck.
|
This is what I will be running for a tire. I hope she hooks on these. It will be in the 60-70's deg. up in the Pocono Mountains.

Fingers crossed the transmission holds. If not, I will get a good laugh out of it.

I think you will be good to go I've seen plenty of cars with your power level hook in the same conditions at this track. All you need is a few laps get use to it and off to the races:driving: |
