Not to change the current topic but I just read two more small pros for Air-to-Air over Water-to-Air.
- A2A system has less weight - If the intercooler fails for whatever reason and leaks into engine...bye bye engine. Albeit, these are small compared to the main reasons... - Reliability and safety for the engine when frequently using boost. - Reduces heat soak issues - Improves performance - Reduced system complexity - Reduction of under hood components Only pro for W2A that I see is for people only doing drag strip runs and they can have a cold car at the line and option to use ice. /Z/ Last edited by imazman; 11-09-2017 at 08:30 AM. |
