Mesh it. Go to the hardware store and grab some black mesh (or spray paint it black), zip ties, maybe a 2x sided tape to attach a tab or something to zip the mesh to.

Hey guys, I am at a crossroads on the BB vs JB turbo. I need to make up my mind on this today because it's going down in the books tomorrow. I've been told that the response time on the BB is better but an advantage of JB is that should a lubrication problem occur there would be less chance of damage. Chime in.

I didn't get that rubber sleeve in my kit so the filter went right back on. I would definitely cut the rubber sleeve off rather than the plastic tabs since you don't even need the sleeve to function.

Emailed you Trent.
You can use the sleeve on the top half of the fuel pump, but as mentioned, it is not a must.

Speaking of gauge I have to tie one of mine into the illumination circuit. Basically a control for when lights are on gauge will dim. Anyone know how to tie into this?

Don't. Edit - Can't remember if you tie that wire to the power or negative. One will always make it dim, the other always not. I left mine not dimmed. Last edited by jwick; 04-19-2016 at 12:23 AM. |
