Does uprev have to be used with this kit or can it be fully tuned with ecutek? I see jax has ecutek traction.

The components of the kit don't care what engine manage to to use. My recommendation is go with the one the best tuner you know uses. Doesn't matter what software it is if the tune is ****.

The oil pan spacer is thick, and for that reason it would not be a good idea to put an oil temperature sensor in it. Because the sensor probe is so short, it would be sitting in the cavity of a thick oil pan spacer, not giving an accurate reading.

If you are to use a long temp sensor probe like the one below, then all is good:

I already talked with Kevin from Fast Intentions. He said that there was no confirmed cases as this, but I was wondering if the FI front tow bar will work on the boosted performance FMIC.

Any other solution to the crash bar issue. I tried searching the forum and Sasha made mention of looking into it (and I PMed him), but I couldn't find any outcomes.

Thanks

Let me know when you get it figured. I definately want my tow capability back. It's a pain when you don't have it and a fat tow truck driver shows up.

I used a mix of hardware to space the factory tow bar out about 9mm and everything still fits fine.. Even the bumper reinforcement so the bumper won't sag.

Edit: I have a Gamma V3 TT kit, not a BP kit. Just throwing out an idea.

The FI "front toe bar" will not work around the BP intercooler. This has indeed already been confirmed

Whose car? I've never heard of someone trying it.

Do you have a picture of it with the bumper off?

My post was a little misleading... I don't have the BP Kit, I have a Gamma V3 TT kit. So YMMV.

I forgot to take pictures of the bar refitted.. but I did snap one pick of the threaded standoffs I used for the studs (since they weren't long enough with the spacers). It did require drilling two holes in the tow bar larger.

Thanks for the pic. I'll see if I can find someone who can fab up the oem bar.

I'm running Ecutek on this kit tuned by Dynosty and loving it.

I guess I missed this the first time around? You had to add 9mm of spacer to get the bumper beam back on?

I thought one of the major selling points of the MHI/Gamma V3 was that it fit out the box?
