Depends on if I have to trailer it there or not lol. Haven't really got an answer if I can drive that far on base tune given I'd be into boost at 80mph. Talked to dynosty unfortunately they wouldn't be able to tune until after z dayz...:(

Keep your foot out of it and you can drive it there. You can drive as far as you want as long as you don't beat on it.

^^this^^

Being slightly in boost isn't an issue as long as you are WOT beating on it and seeing more than a few pounds of boost. If you have an AFR gauge it should tell you if you are having issues.

The base map from Sasha is conservative so you should be fine.

Driving the car four a few days on the base map is not an issue at all. These maps are well put together.

Just try to stay out of boost, which is not that difficult at all. You can drive 100mph and still be in vacuum, boost is load dependent, not speed dependent.

I just canceled my appointment for the Tuesday before ZdayZ, you may be able to snatch my spot but I'm assuming they had a waiting list.

I had to cancel due to timing issues w/ a few key components unfortunately.

I just called dynosty today in Kentucky and they said they only tune boosted 370 with ecutek. It gives them much better valve control than uprev. So could I even possibly drive the car 6 hours to dynosty to get tuned because I'm having some serious doubts about the tuners around here....:/

btw, its a 10 hour drive from me.... 100% worth it

What mods would need to be made to fit the 08 HR 350z ??

TheWeez 04-25-2016 08:13 PM

Just checking in to say how much I love this kit. I never thought it would stay together with me installing it, but it's built so well any moron can put it together. So many people pull up next to me and ask me all about it. :D

BP was originally a 350z kit. His car is a 350z I believe. Send him a pm and ask. I bet he could send you a quote and info no problems.

I have a local donor car with an HR, and this kit will be developed/built in about three weeks, so I will have a full bolt on solution for the HR's.

I just installed the Southbend Stage III daily on the car this weekend, so once the clutch is broken in, he will be back for the turbo kit install.

Appointment made at Dynosty for May 27th for my tune. Going to go ecutek. So I'll have a uprev cable for sale after that if anyone interested.

austins z 04-28-2016 09:39 AM

Do you sell kits with ecutek instead of uprev?

As far as I know there is currently not an Ecutek base map. I'm sure Sasha could include an Ecutek license but you'd be on the hook for the entire tune so unless you are farming out install to your tuner or you plan on towing the car to your tuner not having the base might be an issue.
