A pound or two isn't going to cause any issues. Just don't WOT. Oh and at freeway speeds I'm not in boost, it flutters right around zero or a slight vacuum. |

Edit to my above statement. I do remember trying that way first I didn't like the idea of the lines in between the intercooler and radiator. I went the Other way and securely tied them behind and below radiator. They did not interfere with ic piping. Looking good....

Yeah. I zip tied mine to the plastic cover on the back of the radiator fans.

Sweet. I've searched for a good tuner here in Vegas but haven't found anybody I'd trust. I've heard good things about Specialty Z and would like to go with them for the initial tuning

Sebastian is one of, if not the top tuner in the US for these cars. If you're within 5 hours, get the car to him! Many of these guys have had Seb fly in and do a group tuning session.

I have an electronic afr Guage that display both # and had a sweeping led. I recommend this type as you just need to do a quick peripheral glance and see that the afr is in the right zone. My Guage show green>orange >yellow >red. All you need to see is the right color led lit and you know you're AFR is ok. The ## is nice as it shows exact numbers but they jump up and down like mad! They are decimal not the easiest thing to read when your flying down the road or racing.

Gentlemen, there is absolutely no issues with driving the car for an extended period of time on the base map. It is derived from a BP twin scrolled car tuned to 10psi of boost.
I would however strongly dicourage wide open throttle pulls before a custom tune is done. There could be slight variances in each car thar could impact the tune compatability, which could lead to damage to the engine. So don't hesitate to drive the cars on these base maps, just don't abuse them until they are properly tuned on a dyno.

So is it necessary to get the Ecu part number because I don't own a Windows computer, will a standard tune work for me if I'm only driving 4 miles to my tuner

Not sure what a "standard tune" is. I can't remember that UpRev only uses Windows OS...if so, maybe borrowing a friends laptop would be a possible solution.

Uprev only works with windows. Do yourself a huge favor and get a refurbished Surface Pro running windows 8. Ive been looking for one lately because I did my Titan, G37 and the Z with a 15" laptop and its a PITA. Any tablet that runs full windows 8 and make sure its over 8" unless you get a stylus or have really skinny fingers.
