It was oil in the return lines, we solved it by adding an exapump.

I haven't seen this addressed with any other AAM installed on a 3.7
As I read, maybe it's from the 3.5HR you suggested.

Yeah I'm not sure, it seems to be just my particular luck. We were quite dumbfounded as the shop was installing the AAM kit on a 350z HR at the same time and that car did not have the issue. In the end, the car has been running without creating plumes of smoke since April so I am a happy camper!

Its the two most popular TT kit for our platform currently.
I would say i like both kits. Both kits make good power, Nice powerband.
One thing of the biggest difference is the turbo used and internal and external WG.

You can't go wrong with either. The FI kit does have more turbo options though and a more proven track record since there are more on the street.

The AAM kit is supposedly good for over 700whp out of the box. Not too many people have decided to venture past that, which may be why AAM hasn't really advertised their other turbo options. Their "stage 2" turbos are the BW EFR 7163's and are good for quite a lot more. For some reason 1000whp comes to mind but don't quote me on that as I'm not 100% sure.

FI definitely has more kits out there. It seems to be the most popular. Their kits are also well documented throughout the forums.

Another observation, it seems from the dyno graphs I have seen, the AAM kit creates a little less torque than the FI. Which could be a good or bad thing depending on your goals.

Jwick I quoted you for the mention of turbo options. The rest is just general info for everyone else. I know you know your stuff homie

No worries on this end...you know we're cool

Good point on the torque. I noticed that on most of their kits. The AAM kit on Tony's VQ35HR makes almost equal torque to HP. I'm not sure if that's the tuner or the built VQ35HR motor. Leaning towards the later since he and I have the same tuner.

580-600whp on 9.5-10.5 psi easily with the AAM kit. Most AAM cars are making average of 450tq on that boost pressure. There hasn't been any aggressive E85 tune AAM kit on stock motor except for Jonathan which made 659whp 555tq on 15psi not sure what dyno.

The Stoopicold meet is happening again in January. Ill be joining you as a AAM brother

I see you are planning for a spring install. Do you plan on attending Zdayz next year in May? Myself and Memphis370 are going. It would be nice to meet you and see your car in person there. Whether or not my car will be there is in the air, but I will be lol.
