I think I was more or less going for the least amount of weight possible at high speeds. This was a 40mph roll. i can see how a 1/4 mile your thoughts would be correct, but when trying to push 165mph from a roll in a 1/2 mile, why not experiment with all different types of things to get just a little faster?

I don't know if it's a redneck move or not but the back end of the Z is pretty damn light and the rearward weight probably helps with traction more than it hurts because of the weight. You probably would probably gain some speed by lowering your car an inch to a inch and half because at that speed you have no down force at all. You are like a brick moving through the air...still a very fast brick for sure.

It's a redneck move because when said redneck would loose he would be back at the starting line slinging all the junk out of his trunk and rambling on about it. Then, he would loose again. LOL. IF you want more, build the engine and turn up the boost. Try again next year. If you would have seen it happen in person, you would not go there. Too dang funny. I laughed so hard I nearly pissed myself.
