Yep and even threw in the Torque Converter for free.

Do you have any video of the runs?

TopgunZ 09-14-2015 10:10 AM

Sorry, I did not take any. Ill make one of my next trip after I put on the new 3.4" js pulley....when she breaks 500 ;)

Where did you get the bigger Jack shaft pulley? Seeing your numbers I'm realizing I need to send my 7AT to level 10.

You can get them from vortech.

I'm going to see what a get from the smaller sc pulley and the Stillen 9lb but now I know where to go next, thank you. Do you have a new dyno day scheduled? How does the car feel with the new set up?

I canceled my Sebring trip for the first weekend in October because things are going slow and seeing your number I think I would have killed my 7AT. Hopefully I will have the piping done in the next week.

Awesome
Gotta congratulate you ... ... you persevered and made it work, but not just work, you made it work really well.
I was also shooting for 550whp @ 14~15 psi [@sea level] with the built motor ... kudos ... the little V3 finally flexed its muscles !

TopgunZ 09-16-2015 10:47 AM

I do not have a dyno day setup. I am going to enjoy the rest of the warm weather with my wife and try to stay out of the garage. Besides.. I have to do some work to my truck now anyway. I bought some huge meat tires for it and I need to grind down the welds to fit them on...lol..

The car feels good. It is a lot of fun when high in the RPM band. My turbo felt like it was slowing down up there and this thing just climbs faster and faster..its a good rush.

The sound of the Mortordyne ART pipes is awesome. They are the perfect match for me. They are actually loudest at cruising speeds around 2K rpms. At idle they sound stock which is awesome because no more pissed off neighbors at 6:45am! At WOT they scream bloody murder and cruising they are tame yet have the aggressive note.

The Map sensor conversion has been figured out!

Using our factory MAP sensor on the intake manifold.

This is what I've done - Wire #3 SB - MAF signal. This wire needs to be removed on both MAF sensors. Your map sensor is behind your throttle bodies bolted to your intake manifold.

Your MAP has 3 wires, Ground, Power, and signal. (easily found with your mulit-meter)
Your 2 MAF wires you removed earlier need to be spliced into you signal wire.

Note: this only works with ECUTEK speed density tuning.

The guy that works on my car kept telling me that we could use that MAP if we needed it. Did you tune it?

Nice work man! I might have to go this route in the future.

Evohunter... I have been playing with bpv options and experimenting.

Are you still driving your car with the turbosmart making turkey calls on high rpm decells?

Any info on the piping?

JWillis72 09-30-2015 10:48 AM

The guy went on vacation and didn't tell me. It's been there for three weeks and they finally started on them this morning. Hopefully it will get moving now!
