Ill tackle this tomorrow.

I bought a 3/4" threaded 32 " long bar from metal supply.

2, 3" long by 3/4 " threaded spacers. I just need to fab up 2 backets, one for in the intake mani and one for the blower then weld them together!

If you can reproduce it I would love to buy one! My car is going to the shop tomorrow to start taking it apart. I don't have the PPE long tube headers yet but there is lots of stuff still to do.

Because I track my car I decided to spend the money on the 928 72,000 rpm rebuild kit for the supercharger.

Im having trouble finding a tie rod that's an opened eye lit design

All I can find is a inner tie rod for quads, So I think I buy 2 of those and weld them up.

those bearings are sick man! im going to do these aswell for next year.

Evo, did you know they no longer make the 850cc injectors you have? We are using 1000s in mine.

So where exactly is this air straightener put? I tried to order 850s as well last week and was told they were no longer made and went with 1000s also.

Right before the Mafs in the 3" section. Straightens the air out so your MAFs can get a good reading. There suppose to improve idle and such. for 20 bucks, i think its a no brainer.

Found a few pics of the Stillen Bracket on line and did a real quick job of photoshopping them to just to illustrate the weak area I'm referring to.
If you notice in the picture that has the SC'r attached to the bracket it actually looks like it is solidly designed and constructed.
It is, however, deceiving.
The SC'r itself stands off from the bracket by about a 1/4" or so with a rather stingy spacer --- and to make matters worse, it is only supported part way around.
The SCR is held in space (pun intended) by only the 3 bolts and the small surface area of the spacer.

In the next photo I airbrushed out the SC'r [very quickly and not to scale] just to illustrate the small surface area [highlighted in red - again not to scale] that is being asked to support the SC'r under load.
This is where I feel there is the need for reinforcement in order to reduce the bracket flex.

There is room enough to create a more substantial spacer - extending it's mass to the left [clearing the belts] bolting it to to the main bracket plate with either 3 more bolts or 2 bolts and a locator pin.
This along with EVO's much improved tensioner plate on the other side of the bracket plate should make the bracket super strong.

I'll be the first to kick in another case of beer to EVO's buddy !
Your exactly right, theres basically nothing holding up this charger.

Supercharger cog belt being constantly chewed
This design has a MAJOR flaw, He has his brace on his charger. which is fine.
BUT he has the other end of his bracket hooked up to the body!! super big no no..
What happens when your motor moves back and forth from torque lol.

thought that was funny!! i guess he won't need solid motor mounts on one side at least lol

They come in 600 or 1000 now. I ordered a set of 850s and got 1000 so I sent them back and called Z1 for 850s and was just told they stopped making them.

I'm on a stock block and stock 7AT so I kind of expect to brake one of them but I hope it's not both at the same time! My plan is to get this all done before Oct 3rd so I can take it to Sebring that weekend and see what it can do.
