FWIW, I am glad that he actually reached out to you. It was the absolute least he could have done in this scenario.

yes and no.

kinda opened a whole new can of worms saying that Sam spoke to you which is like talking to Christ himself in terms of rarity AND that he said he's working R&D on a new SC for the VQ.

so you spoke to jesus and found the arc in the same day.

I'm surprised this new thread isn't on lockdown yet... I say he needs to start by taking care of his original customers and addressing the cracked manifold issue that he is well aware of. I don't think at this point anyone can go after him for the turbo group buy because he wrote it off on his bankruptcy..

Why not just get the manifold welded and move on? No matter what Sam does, he's not going to help old customers. There's no money in it.

I could but honestly it looks like the crack is made full circle and I worry it will just happening again in another spot then having to tear it all down again.. Plus I believe the downfall to the drivers side is the weight pulling down since the runners seem to be extended further out than the passenger side..

The guys I sent you contact info for told me we had nothing to worry about on welding those. Unless you just want all of Sam's parts off the car, it's not a showstopper of an issue.

At this point I probably will have it fixed because I really don't want to have to shell out more money for another kit.. Thanks again chuck..
Also I need to tighten the wastegate a bit more while I have it off.. When I put it on I didn't put enough wastegate pressure on the spring.

Welding won't take long and is much cheaper. Glad to get the contact info of the people who did my buddies. It came out really good for a stick weld.

Can't believe anyone would even contemplate buying anything from them. I wouldn't let them hold a $20 bill for me. With other reputable companies out there why would you even give them your business. They treat their customers like ****. I spent a bunch of cash at aam to have their cut installed. They reported in weekly with updates and any delays.

And you have no money to build the kits you've take money for yet can r and d a new supercharger system. Stevie wonder wouldn't give them his money for that sc kit. Do you really think your gonna receive it.

While I understand why people are mad. Do you really think it helps the aftermarket for this car to try and steer everyone from doing business? You know with ALL the other kit makers out there.

I, for one, would not be interested in "taking one for the team", which is essentially what would be required if going to GTM. Their money for R&D comes from people who give them money for other products they don't deliver. They just take the money and funnel it elsewhere, which is why they can't refund anyone's money after the fact.

Sorry, but I would rather have fewer aftermarket options than more options from high profile, deceitful shops that screw over the community
