Speedometer and RPM & Orher Gauges

The pointer on my speedometer, RPM, Oil, and other gauges doesn't light up. Any ideas on what the problem is? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413204449.591173.jpg

That's odd I haven't seen that before but since your Z is a 2013 shouldn't it be under warranty?

Yeah it is, I'm just trying to figure out the problem first because I just got my headlights done with demon and halos so I don't want them telling me that the modification on my headlights is the source of the problem.

That would be my guess if they were fine before the install & didn't work afterwards. Something got bumped, unplugged, blown or otherwise mangled.

Now if you told me you had a flat tire after a headlight install, I'd say they're unrelated. But gauge lights....I'm gonna bet it's not coincidence.

Ugh, also the clock and the odometer for A and B keeps resetting, could that result in my headlight modification as well?

Just a thought - disconnect the battery for a few minutes and let the system reset itself? From what I've read these cars do some weird stuff when messing with electronics...

In that case maybe a fuse could have blown with the headlight install? Probably check the ones near the driver floor panel/foot rest area.

Unless you had a switch installed in the dash (or the dash removed) for the new lights, the new install shouldn't be the problem. All the headlight wiring can be done under the hood.

If the dash was messed with for the lighting install, check all wiring connectors, fuses, &c.

PS: You may be able to get an idea of what's going on with the gauge needle lights by looking through the FSM. or one of the DIYs for changing LEDs in the dash.

From what I've read here,

2013 Tach and Speedo Needles not Illuminated

It seems like that person had a fuse blocker, so I assume my fuse has been blown. What would the fuse be called for the dash that illuminates the needle?

Check the fuses as well as the extended storage switch (in the fuse block)

Thanks! That actually worked. Everything is back to normal including the illuminated needle and as well as the clock and trip odometer.
