might also want to check to see of the module in the center column is plugged in. there is a key sensor in there and if it is unplugged it

might also want to check to see of the module in the center column is plugged in. there is a key sensor in there and if it is unplugged it will not register a key present so you have to use the fobgina. here is the link to the thread that shows a picture of the module and i posted a diagram where it is located.
What it's this plug for? the module is called inside key antenna.
