You wouldn't happen to have a couple pics of the rear/rear angle of your car, would you? I've looked at your album, but nothing shows a "great" angle of the spoiler itself.

Thanks!

There are close replicas out there now for the real nismo spoiler. Im actually about to order one myself. The replica is made by Seibon and is called the CF NSM spoiler. Question I have is that 370tuner has an FRP one as well for only 450, but I doubt its a Seibon product. I will be color matching the whole spoiler, do you think its a bad idea to go for the cheaper FRP version?

Sure. Because every person who likes the look of that spoiler wishes they had a slower, heavier, more expensive version of their car.

Nismo Elitism.

Thanks CB, I was about to make a similar post but you saved me the trouble. If I was remotely interested in making my car into a fake Nismo Id have have purchased the restrictive, terribly overpriced exhaust and some sweet stickers.

I dont think anybody has purchased and installed the FRP version, while I know the CF NSM has been done. Thats whats causing me to lean towards the CF version.

real nismo spoiler can easily be bought from a bodyshop. just tell them to call it in to their local nissan parts distributer, won't be cheap but it can be bought.

I'm not being elitist, I'm saying that why make yoru car look like a Nismo with a replica Nismo wing? It's akin to putting Type R wings on an LS. It's one step away from putting the Type R badge on your car, and that's the part that concerns me. I don't think the Nismo is better, I only bought it because I hate the base car's fangs, and the touring edition non modular radio so you can't change it out. I just hate cars pretending to be something their not, they should just be their own thing instead of putting on replica ****.

I think youre making too big of a leap to say that installing a replica wing is one step away from putting on Nismo badges. I cant speak for everybody but Im just looking to personalize my car with a wing that I like. I happen to like the Nismo wing more than any other aftermarket product out there right now. In no way does a wing scream out to people "hey look Im driving a Nismo" especially considering this replica is slightly different than the actual Nismo spoiler. People within the Z community could immediately tell its not a Nismo, and people from outside the community wouldnt know the difference between the Nismo spoiler and the Amuse even. Stickers on the other hand Id have to agree with you, I think its tasteless (but I wouldnt go posting negative comments in other threads).
The other argument of course is with the concept of replicas in general. Little to no R&D to produce something that closely mirrors a product that somebody else spent the time and money to perfect. Supporting those companies is something I would also like to avoid, but in the case of Nissans Nismo parts, they are specially overpriced so I dont feel bad buying 1 replica part.

Kilbasa16 is right - the Nismo wing looks great.. and get over yourself if you think every one is just trying got look like the Nismo. I was going with Amuse all around and the CF Seibon NSM wing.. Yes it looks like the Nismo wing - but guess what, Nissan does not make a CF Nismo wing.. So Seibon does.. We are all NISSAN OWNERS!!! GET OVER YOURSELF!!! YIKES!!!

tabrams if you think I have some sort of Nismo ego, it is one you super impose on me. I never said Nismo was better than anyone else, what if I hated nismo, and I still hated the fact that someone is putting a replica nismo wing on? And as far as "[not] every one is just trying got look like the Nismo" seems inaccurate if I'm merely complaining purely about the replica wings, not amuse, and not that 'everyone' is allegedly doing it.
