ive done dinoc, it's not hard to do if you know wat you're doing. for standard vinyl it will be more like a clearbra/tint wet install.
no idea on durability. i would assume 4-5yrs with wax/sealant on the surface.
usually when you peel back after 4-5 yrs, the whole roof comes off.

 What he means to say on that last bit is that you should have a professional take it off if you ever want to remove it instead of doing it yourself....
