Hey guys, Im looking at getting some vented fenders. However, I have heard that there are some fitment issues with certain companies. Anyone have fitment issues with any of these?

Default Issues with Fender fitment?

Hey guys, Im looking at getting some vented fenders. However, I have heard that there are some fitment issues with certain companies.

Anyone have fitment issues with any of these?

Also, if you have put them on and the fit up was spot on..please comment on this.

Just trying to go with the company that deserves the money and saves me a big headache.

Thanks

I would recommend the Carbon Signal fenders as they use OEM fenders and modify them. Personally I wouldn't get the "other" fenders as I have seen first hand the poor fitment. I'm sure the fitment could be fixed with body shop time, but that relates to more $$$.

I would love to go with Carbon Signal but the wait time is going to kill me. I am ready to put this together with the rest of my body parts and get the car wrapped but do not want to wait another 2 months for my parts.

Any idea how long it usually takes to get them to your door after you place an order?

You would have to contact them about that. When I ordered, their ETA was way off from the actual time of arrival. They have more support in the US now so maybe its faster/easier to get parts. You can also spend more money to have them ship directly to you. It would probably even out vs. paying a body shop to make the other fenders fit properly.

Good luck with your build.

Normal lead time is 2-4 weeks if item not in stock and needed to he done. As we do local jobs as well hence this timeline

For shipping it takes time when people don't want to pay shipping direct to them then they pay only internal USA shipping charges. If someone pays then shipping takes only 3-4 days

For fenders we have an offer going on v2 fenders which doesn't require to purchase OEM fenders and we will shop those with the raptor GB going on. Can manage v1 as well in that but keep in mind shipment will be reach you by jan. To get it shipped direct of you cover the charges I can get you ready fenders within 2-3 weeks

Mine is from Aerojacket and fitment is fine. Gaps are oem and consistent. My issue was the mesh in the vent openings could be better and were not painted black as it should.

Here's my story. Not say where is got them from but the fenders were a nightmare. The sell was excellent but the product was rough.

Shipping was bad, took for ever then they arrive quiet damages but vendor and I arranged a refund of cost to fix. Then the body shop told me I'm looking at least $1500 to clean up and install. I told them go a head then and when it came to fitting onto car the bodyshop showed me all the lines and I wasn't happ with it and I was looking at another grand plus to make them looks how I wanted them to look. Wife wasn't happy and I ended up selling them for a loss.

I'm pretty picky on them looking close to oem as possible. If you are picky and get lucky on how well the fender was made you could be looking at big buck to fix or if you can live with the odd line not perfect it could be cheap to install. What I learned are fenders have to be the worst to replace because there are so many lines the need to line up and can be a big process to make it look perfect.
