FYI, my NISMO bumper is only $380-400. So I believe what Courtesy says on yours. Remember it doesn't include all the other parts you need that could add up to $1200~ bucks for just the bumper.

Yes they did, however the unpainted parts are not that much cheaper than the pre-painted parts. Factory paint is always more durable - especially when it's not a metal application.

Definitely false. Nissan paint is not near as good as a body shop could do on your car. Nissan is concerned about price and they will do the cheapest they can. Body shops warranty your car usually for a very long time, and want the paint to last. So they will add extra clear and use better paint.

UnderBody cover panel, $400~, brackets and bolts (all add additional amount to the price). The normal 350z under panel would not work, I would assume the 370z one also would not work as the nose is longer.

this is my first time changing bumpers or anything of that sort with any car. i didnt know you had to get additional parts asides from the bumper itself. i know the front lip comes separate from the front bumper but i didnt know there was other parts like what you mentioned, "under body cover panel". i thought the bumper came with everything it needs to be installed including bolts/brackets or w/e. i thought it was simple as; remove stock bumper, install new bumper, install lip.

hmmm, so basically we're looking @ a little less than 1g for the parts and components to have the Nismo front bumper & Nismo front lip & the additional parts that are necessary for installation right?

Last time I checked on the 370z the lip was part of the bumper itself. It was just part of the design like mine is. So it's all one piece. But yes, there are many pieces that are required to mount the bumper properly. Without that bottom cover on, (I have had mine off before to work under it), the front bumper flexes a great deal in the center that is a little scary to drive around like that as it would flap I would think.

ohh ok. yea hopefully the whole front bumper/lip is 1 piece. so basically we'll have to purchase the (1)front bumper with the attached lip & (2) bottom cover.

correct?
