New stupid question!! HOw the Frick do you remove the shift knob on 370z?

PITA to swap out the oem knob. Too much loctite at the factory. Use a strapwrench and visegrip I taped the stem and then gripped it. Twenty minutes of muscle-ing

PITA to swap out the oem knob. Too much loctite at the factory. Use a strapwrench and visegrip I taped the stem and then gripped it. Twenty minutes of muscle-ing took about 20 minutes to break the knob loose from it's thread. I started to sweat a little bit when I did mine. it was more frustrating rather than difficult.
