Default Passenger window won't go up

Today at lunch I notice my passenger window won't go down. Then I leave for the day and forget and unlock the doors using the FOB and I normally hold it down for 5 secs so both windows roll down and what do you know my passenger window came down and now it won't go back up. It's cold outside and I live in Glen burnie which has alot of crime and I'm sure my stereo which I just spent 1700.00 on going to get stolen most likely. or maybe I get lucky and nobody notices my passenger window down.

My question is can I use the FOB to roll up both windows? I have a hard time believing it's the motor in the door because it came down, neither switch driver side or passenger side will roll the window up.

I have an ODBII scanner and no codes are showing. I've had the car 3 months, bought it used, only 11k miles and some crap like this already.

not a happy 370z owner right now and it won't take much to trade this away quickly because I won't tolerate a car that little things break on.

That is not an option you can NOT use the fob to make them go up.

Have you tried to reset the windows?

Window won't come up due to programming?

And as for the windows going up via fob? Not possible stock

If you take the key out of the fob, insert it in the door, and rotate it toward the front and hold it, you can make the windows go up. Assuming the motor isn't toasted.

You da bomb! thats the ticket. So although I still have a malfunctioning passenger window at least now it will be up until I can get to a dealership. Thank you so much.

Stupid question, but your window lock button (next to the window controls) isnt pressed in, is it? With that pressed in, only the driver side will function....

wow, I feel like a moron. That is exactly what was wrong. I never even noticed it and just looking at the look button it looked normal but when I touched it it came up some so I then tried the passenger window buttons and viola.....

window up, window down.

Sorry 370z you aren't broken I apologize in front of all for hurting my cars feelings.

Glad you got that resolved. That's pretty easy to miss. I forgot you could lock them.

Yup I did the same exact thing and got all worried about it. Took some time to figure it out, I didn't even realize there was a lock.

I think most Z owners go into freak out mode because of this for a few seconds at least once in the cars lifetime...I know I have. That button is so subtle and easy to hit accidentally.
