Why is my cabin so hot!

My interior gets SUPER hot. It's like if I have the heater on. It happens after I've been driving around for like 10 min Car isn't over heating or anything.

Has anyone experienced this? I don't like to keep the AC on all the time

if the heat is coming from your footwell i think it is common among us. i get the same problem and it is quite annoying because sometimes i like rolling with my windows down and climate control off. and i feel a bunch of heat coming from the footwell...

Yes I have noticed unusual amounts of heat coming from the footwell area!

Well that sucks I wish there was a plug or something. Not like I use the AC for my feet. Well not on previous cars I've owned. This one gets so hot I have no other choice

It's annoying. It's either widows down. Or have the AC on.
A couple of days ago I had shorts on and the windows open. One half of my body was cold, the other was hot. I gave into AC. Lol

The fix for the footwell, at least for me. Was to turn my AC on and turn the temp all the way to 60degrees and then turn AC off. I haven had any heat come out since.

This may seem stupid, but you see the middle dial in this pic. In the middle if it is set to the left, you will get heat from the engine in your cabin a bit. Push it to set it to the right

I'm sorry if this is obvious and not connected to your problems.

It's heatsoak. I think someone ceramic coated their vent ducts to fix this.

If you think the cabin is hot while driving, get back in the car and see how warm it gets after you stop! Normally it doesn't bother me until I'm sitting in heavy traffic, then it gets hard to resist turning on the AC which I try not to do.

I don't know that I've ever had a car that will get as cold as this one does. In my truck, 100* outside there is no hope of getting it under about 80*, no matter how long you drive. My wife's Mini...might as well just put the windows down becasue the AC isn't any colder than the ambient. In the Z, even on 100*+ days, I'll have to turn the AC back becasue it gets too cold.
