Is this a joke? Evo-R rear diffuser dissapointment (PICS INSIDE)

After 3 hours fighting with this piece I finally made it to fit -BARELY- by employing a very efficient method for fixing stuff the manly way, called brute force.

Because according to EVO-R directions, you basically use brute force to make it fit, and if it doesn't line up with where it should (the edge of the valance), you just have to deal with it, no matter if it looks awkward.

But of course, I had to use "more severe" fastening ways, the little screw just won't do the job. Drilled two additional holes below the first one, and added two pop rivets each side. I did not even touch the double sided tape because it won't do a thing, there is a 1/2" gap after I managed to secure both sides. So I generously applied 3M polyurethane silicone, and put some spacers between the exhaust tip and the diffuser so it stays in place.

I clarify: I've done everything possible to make it look like in the pictures, but still not looking properly. Although it does look a bit more respectable now, saying this will have a perfect or very good fit is a lie. I'm still not happy at all with the looks of this product, nor the instructions and materials supplied by the manufacturer. Many customers don't have the time for this and their only choice is to cut it in 3 pieces and re-build the diffuser, like stated by Perf.Des.


Right now I'm waiting for it to dry. Some pictrures meanwhile...

This is how passenger side looks after you fit the other side. So more brute force has been used. I thank God because my diffuser didn't crack apart.
