Side note to those interested in doing their handles it holds up extremly well rain or shine. I was hesitant about doing the handles also but I'm glad I went ahead and did it. My car lives outside for the time being, jus be sure to clean and prep them well I used rubbing alcohol with q-tips. Make sure u spray the inside where your fingers grab otherwise eventually it will start to peel off inside. But that's to be expected it's a $5 dollar mod, hope this helps!  |
Just a FYI if you don't want to get some of the better paint prep solevents there are better common solevents than isopropanol - methanol will leave less residue than isopropanol. Ethanol is the best of the alcohols - the use it in our calibration lab where they can't have any residue on the equipment under test in the physical properties lab.
