It shouldn't really be a problem imo, had numerous of vented hoods on my previous cars and it doesn't seem to have done any damage or rust to be seen

It shouldn't really be a problem imo, had numerous of vented hoods on my previous cars and it doesn't seem to have done any damage or rust to be seen with the naked eye. =] but then again that's just my perspective on it.
