OEM shift knob removal (SEARCHED)

honestly i would probably break that little wooden handle or drum stick you guys show with that 'belt trick.' i thought my car was going to turn with my wrench

honestly i would probably break that little wooden handle or drum stick you guys show with that 'belt trick.'

i thought my car was going to turn with my wrench when i finally decided to use the oil filter wrench on the stock knob. thats how tight it was.

I used that drum stick only as a reference. It was the only thing I saw at the moment. I would probably used 1/2 of my jack pipe or a beefier piece of wood.
