Figured I would update this, I just got my shift knob from Tommy Kaira. I've found a few pictures but there's really nothing about these written anyplace, at least not

I've found a few pictures but there's really nothing about these written anyplace, at least not in English. To be honest, I had pretty low expectations when I ordered it... It's just a shift knob right, but that probably helped allot
I have nothing bad to say about it, OK well except for maybe that stupid phrase on the top but oh well. It fits perfectly in your hand and the shape gives it a great feel and grip. That weird turtle thing does stick up a little, but that gives it some texture and certainly doesn't bother me any. I don't know what they coated it with but it feels suspiciously smooth, almost slippery even, but again you do have a solid grip on it. I don't think you hand slipping off would be an issue due to the shape, turns out that probably won't matter anymore anyway though.
The weight is good and it does make a bit of a difference in the feel of the *****. It also fits perfectly with the shift boot, as you can see. Maybe even better then the stock knob, all I did was screw it on there are no extra washers or anything the boot just fits.

This was a rare purchase I have actually been completely satisfied with, the price isn't even a big factor. That damn Stereo cost 1ox as much and I was not nearly as happy with it when it was done. (It still really isn't finished I just don't feel like ******* with it anymore)

I don't know, their Japanese. I don't have to explain how weird they are do I?

I guess their logo is a Turtle though

Does anyone have one of these bad boys from Zele. They are really cheap at about $450 a pop

For $450 buck that better be heated. Titanium gets really cold in the winter.

I've been thinking about this for a while - the manual Audi R8 gear knob has exactly the same knurling as the touring/GT interior Hvac controls and I think would look great - probably very expensive and not sure if the threading would be the same - sorry about the poor photoshop work

Is that the actual size? It's like putting a mini-keg on your shifter, I don't like it but if you do start scouring the R8 boards I guess. Besides the shift pattern is wrong, not that it matters but it would annoy the crap out of me and would guarantee if anyone else ever tried to drive they would put it in the wrong gear... or snap that **** off trying to push it left and down

I have no idea what an R8 knob costs from the dealer, but to give some perspective my dealer told me $155 for the OEM knob. But with that perspective even the fancy imported ones aren't that expensive.

I just got this one. I matches the interior of the car with the red and black and I love the way it feels. I know it is not really the correct knob for our car but I really like it.
