I'm not sure what you are asking, but I believe you are asking if it is a harder install? If so, the answer is no. It is the standard three-wire connection. But, the connector that clips into the actual mirror is different than the standard Gentex connector, so a custom harness has to be made. This is insignificant to the buyer as they will install in the same manner.
