Whether or not the drag will affect any of these cars at speeds they will see is a different story. I doubt if it will be noticable at all. However, the speed at which the car becomes aerodynamicly restrained could be lowered as much as a few MPH. That being said. I have an idea that maybe Stillen would be interested in in the Aero dept. My guess is with some simple and cheap parts I could clean the aerodynamics of this car up very easily. If you'd like to hear it shoot me a PM.

Sorry, I'm stuck in Charlotte waiting to fly our IT guy back to Fay. I'm bored, and probably posting way too much.
You are correct, and I apologize if my post was misleading. In top speed discussions then yes, the side scoops are going to put a bit of a drag. Exactly how much, I don't know. But, those speeds would be very high before you start seeing any negative side effects.

Kyle, are the fangs separate peices like I think you mentioned before?

If so, I really like the final design (fangless). From what I can tell in the pics you guys did a nice job on the design and certain aspects are a departure and new style from past stuff. I'm liking how the top of the side ducts looks like the build in canard on the NISMO bumper as well. If I didn't have a NISMO I'd be wanting one. Hope it sells well for you guys.

When you paint it, paint that upper plate mount black!

I think the vents will be nice for cooler function. Assuming one may be for and intercooler, power over minor high speed drag IMO.
That is correct. The fangs are seperate pieces that can be purchased seperately for people who want them. Once installed they will become functional brake ducts with all of the necessary piping.

To be perfectly honest, I too would probably run it without the fangs, but because this car will see track days and I'll want the additional brake cooling, I'll probably end up putting the fangs back in.

Cool...

If you really wanted to keep the look I'm sure with your resources you could have ducting made to supply air to the coolers and brakes from the side ducts. Test in and sell it later as an option if there is interest, then everyone gets a brake cooling option regarless of fangs. If you could mold it out of urethane it might be cheaper than the bending or labor involved with "tin work".

I think I found my fascia Kyle! when is this fascia expected to hit the market? Any plans on putting the S/C air-water heat exchanger behind one of those side scoops? Whats the plan for covering the center...mesh?

yea, whats wrong with that? i miss having fog lights, they add wider visibility if placed right. plus they can help blind those a-holes running illegal hids without the correct headlight assembly (projectors)

I also vote for front driving and/or fog lights mounts. They help me around the canyons.

The one thing that Id like to see fixed is that the fangs on the bottom are not flush and it looks like they are just snapped in. If you make them look like one piece it will look better. And if you can show some pics of it completely painted might help too.

Id also like to be able to put the plastic grill piece back in to hide whats behind it more.
