gt3rs style vents 370z?

Sunny, do you do any track days or drive on the Autobahn? That's the only two places that aero pays off. Think I know what you want to do. But

Sunny, do you do any track days or drive on the Autobahn? That's the only two places that aero pays off. Think I know what you want to do. But it would take a whole redesign of the Z. Those vents you see on the GT are for the oil coolers. It's where the air comes out of. They don't provide any down force. If they did. It would be very little.

Hey, a lot of it is just down to aesthetics, when it drives by and you see vents coming out of the back it just looks cool. I do not attend regular track days or even the auto bahn.

this is probably a waste of time

but

I really, REALLY doubt you're doing the kind of driving (i.e. on a TRACK) where this sort of aerodynamic **** is gonna make a lick of difference

and before even getting that far, there are MANY, MANY things that affect the car WAY more than a fuckin' vent in the back stolen from a totally different (race engineered) car.

#1 would be the driver - you - who appears clueless. So improving that would be a big help

#2 and everything is . . . the engine, the suspension, brakes, tires, hell, safety tech, if you're even doing that sorta thing

but back to everyone's point

it sounds like you should STOP ASKING THESE STUPID ******* QUESTIONS and read and learn about how cars work

maybe go to a track day and ride with an instructor , other experienced drivers. rent a spec miata.
So if I am understanding correctly you are saying I should also potentially take the suspension, brakes and alloys from the 911 GT3 RS? I am not sure how feasible that is but if it makes the mods better all round then im all for it.

I do not do track days, I just like the way it looks, and really it should be enough in that it looks cool and gives me a couple extra HP / acceleration speed from the aero of that piece on the back.

No, he was saying that those parts affect the car. I seriously doubt any of those parts would crossover to anything other than another Porsche.

...and all my comments before were for the rear bumper vents. The vent for the engine.... what everyone else said.

Sunny, if you really want vents back there. You can use something like these.

I don't have time for stupid people. But for some reason, I make time for trolls. I guess because of the challenge.
