Yeah, I was put off with their version 1 imperfections and those were supposed to be improved with ver 2 mind you this was years ago so Im not sure

Yeah,
I was put off with their version 1 imperfections and those were supposed to be improved with ver 2 mind you this was years ago so Im not sure IF your is an early version old stock? At this point the only fix IF which I guess Stillen won't really claim any responsibility is to have a stiff piece of metal bar/plate epoxied across the top underside as a support so that doesn't sag. Thats just too bad you have to deal with this after all the work and $ has been spent to have it look good
