Well my ‘13 camaro SS I had for 4 years had the taillights blacked out also and never had an issue. It was vinyl cutouts so it was actually darker

Well my ‘13 camaro SS I had for 4 years had the taillights blacked out also and never had an issue. It was vinyl cutouts so it was actually darker than the tint on the Z. I will turn my headlights on if I notice a cop around but so far so good.
