Yeah, this is not how they will be installed, the post was just for fun I may even use a thermographic camera if I found one with my track mates before installing to maximize their effect.

No need for the camera, sounds like the instructions have done the research for you. The radiator is going to give off the most heat & you want to vent in a low pressure area of the hood. The more you vent the radiator, the more engine heat it will absorb, keeping things cool
