Glad to see it was received without any issues. It was MUCH faster than I hoped for. Awesome, now I hope you all get the same good results as I did

TLDR: worth a try, no luck for me, yet.

Received the product, extremely well packaged and well sealed, I bet I could kick shipping box like a soccer ball and the bottle inside would be just fine. Mucho Gracias!

It's the fall, but it's still clear sky and 95F during the day in Dallas, Texas. I hurried up with trying the product so I can put the dashboard to the natural torture test.

Sat the dashboard under the sun for about 25 minutes while I took a dump. The dash surface temp was showing 160F+ (concrete next to it was showing 105F), dash was nice and shiny/melty.

For giggles, I applied the product on 1/4 of the dash when it's still hot and melty (around 140F at this point).

Did another 1/4 when it's completely cooled off (dry air, A/C environment, plus cooled with a cooling pad).

Let 1/2 untouched (including the 3 pod covers)

I applied 3 times on each side. Let it cure for a couple of hours in-door. Threw it back outside for Texas sun torture test. Shiny and melty again.

Note: on this spare dash, all area was "infected", except for the pod covers. They remained matted and smooth to the touch under the sun.

Let me know if y'all have other ideas to test. Hopefully others have better luck.

Hmmm....

Right after the last post, under the hot sun, I applied another layer to the 1st 1/4 of the test surface. Yes I poured the chemical directly on the shiny and melty dash, right under the sun. It was hard to move the sponge initially, but I poured enough to make sure all the bumpy surface gets the chemical. I don't know why that would matter, I was hoping the chemical can bond with the layer better if things were melting.

It's been over an hour since, just went out to check again, and there's actually a distinct difference. That 1/4 area looks less shiny (although not the original matted), and it's actually dry to the touch, left no residue on my hand...while the other areas are sticky and shiny.

Sorry for the rant....

I'll leave the dash out, recheck tomorrow, see if my luck continues.

Day 2, dash been outside for 24+ hours, another 90+F full sun clear sky. In the picture, right hand side is still dry to the touch, and noticeably more matted. Second picture shows surface temp. The middle line was where I had masking tape on (fell off when dash turned melted under the sun).

I’m leave it out there for more time to see if it’ll fail at some point.

I’m also going to try the same application technique using 303, to see if that will work.

First, wanted thank you for posting the results. I hope I read this correctly... So we just have to put a lot of the protectant a few times for it to work?

I can accept a non-sticky semi shiny dash if that's the end result.

You have to apply it when the dash is hot and shiny. Do it while the dash is in the molten state.

I gotta say I was reading the posts above hoping it really does work for you guys as well. When I discovered it and applied it on my dash, I had just the beginning of the dreaded stickiness issue and it was a super easy fix. I always thought that fck it - who knows if it can cure the infected dash....but I'm so happy to read that it actually does help! Hope it works completely and stays that way!

Just curious how you apply it in your case? Did you have to do it a few times in between days? Thanks again for your help.

I applied several light coats in one evening, and I think that was it. I must note though - my dash was just barely starting to get sticky. So it could be that with a really problematic dash it's a question of getting light coats over several days for it to really cure it.
