VIS/AMS Carbon Fiber Hood..

Well it's ordered...

I received my hood from VIS..

As the delivery guy was pulling the hood off the truck I see the huge gash in the box..

After opening and unpacking the hood, I inspected it and it was flawless thanks to the good packing.

I then started prepping the car by removing my stock hood

With a little help from my little brother I installed the hood

The fitment was spot on! I couldn't ask for a better fit.. VIS really did an outstanding job!!

And here you have it she's all done.

Did you have any fitment issues? I'm noticing a bit of gap in between my right headlight and my hood. I loosened the mounting hardware and tried my best to shift it more towards the headlight while tightening down but it still has more of a gap between the right headlight and hood compared to the gap between the left headlight and hood.

Same as stock, if not a few pounds heavier... Never got an exact weight.. But it's not bad..

None, the vents are offset, and has rain channels.

That's good to hear.

Do you have photos of the vents and rain channels?

I'm also afraid of getting the vented hood as mine is a daily. Don't want heaps of water on the engine bay.
