I think every one is right with the vents. There is alot going on with the front fascia, you have fangs, lip, grill and now a vent? it doesnt work.

Some clean, simple, functional would be good and flows fluidly with the canards that you guys were planning as well.

This is the lip I would like to see made for the 370z. Although this looks just like a 350z nismo lip. Simple and not bulky.

With this type of design, there is a decent amount of extension at the front, which would in fact increase downforce as a splitter would.

Canards are also absolutely an option, as long as the interest is there. Similar urethane pieces we've done with the GT-R were very effective on our race car. And urethane is extremely durable, the original lip spoiler and canards we put on our GT-R survived the entire Targa Newfoundland Rally just fine, slamming all over the place. Fiberglass or carbon fiber would never have been close to lasting.

I like the GT-R, not sure it will carry over exactly that for the Z (GT-R is a bit more "boxy), but I like that design.

I like how the indentions in the lip sets off the canards on the GT-R...nice.

OK OK Please dont flame, I did this in 5 minutes and I think its OK...

I took the Porsche front lip (GT3) since it had the indentation in the middle which I happen to think flows very well with the fangs. I left the vents only because its my take on vents (if there has to be any) and its easy to remove...

Enjoy...

^^ Not bad... I typically don't like vents in a lip, but that looks pretty good.

I like those pieces from the GTR quite a bit.

I suppose I tend to favor a more aggressive design.

Its not even that its more aggressive, its simply a nicer piece than the proto for the Z. Even that lip molded to fit the Z would look great if they align that middle indent with the fangs. But I think its important to have the lip designed to flow along the frontal part of the bumper rather than underneath, or else it will be trashed extremely quick. The stock bumper is already low enough with a coilover system installed...Any lip that adds to the bottom of the car will be useless, unless your driving on the most perfect roads all day every day.

Stillen, is there any plans for a full body kit? I'm really interested in a new front bumper, especially with added vents for cooling.

Oh man I like the idea of no vents. and yes CF too I would get it in a heartbeat since Stillen is pretty ECONOMY friendly and great products.
