Default Painting the foglight filler plate body color?

I know the preferred 'fix' for the weird black plate at center rear is to install the fog light. I'm not sure I want to go that route. has anyone just painted the thing to match their body color? Pics? I'm especially interested in silver....

the preferred fix is to install a port for your intake or brakes. otherwise leave it a lone.

I'm talking about the rear fog light filler panel.

Naw, in fact at the Dallas meetup a few weeks back, mine was the only 370Z there with no rear wing. Believe it or not, I have yet to take a single photo of my Z. But, should be able to find a shot of a silver Z. I also see where some folks black out the entire area around and between the exhaust pipes. Not sure if I like that or not. My wife's Murano is painted that way.
