Since alot of G35 guys ended up upgrading their brakes to the Akebono brakes from the G37, which are exactly the same as the Z34 brakes, they all had a first hand experience at how heavy those rotors really are. A 2-piece aftermarket rotor would definitely help. Especially since that's all unsprung weight, which has more of an impact on acceleration than other areas of weight.
