The car's charging system is a very basic one and not a complex charging system that a Li battery would require. Lead Acid batteries can take a lot of abuse while a Li battery is very fragile and sensitive to almost everything (high temps, low temps, charging rate, discharging rate, and aging). gbrettin, Wonka2581, TBatt and 1 others like this.
