oil change recommendations?

OMG more 3,000 miles posts! My head is going to EXPLODE! EXPLODE! Seriously...where are my 'not going to explode meds'?

3000 miles is marketing BS brought to you by the oil and auto service industries. There is zero need to change oil that early when using conventional let alone synthetic used in a daily driver. Period.

I think I'll start a list of just a few articles that have tried to debunk this myth...
