Possibly the ECU pulling timing when IAT is above, IIRC, 85 F.

no issue with mine. there is heatsoak while at a light so the power delivery is obviously
less vs a cool day, but no hesitation.

We've had 90 degree weather for the past few weeks, but I have not noticed any hesitation.

My Z will spin the tires at the slightest provocation leaving work when it's cold, I mean it's like a different car when it gets warm. Not bad mind you, but I think all the cars I've ever owned ran peppier when first cranked.

When I lived in Texas, I noticed a loss of power in the summer time (90F of above). Also when I had my car tuned at Uprev, they told me that you start losing HP once your oil temp starts getting over 220... not sure if there is any truth behind that.

I also live in Texas and I think I'm experiencing the same thing op. My car feels perfectly normal in the high RPM's but the punch off the line is lacking for sure.

During my last Texas summer, I would experience loss of power and my car running sluggish when temps reached above 90F. My tuner made some slight adjustments and corrected the issues.

Ok let me clear things up a bit, if you had and up rev tune done by a real tuner, means he adjusted ur a/f ratio on a/f targets and timing and so on, you will not have this delay. If you just installed a rom by ur self w/o a tuner person correction, you will have that stock delay(if u never adjusted it). If you never had the tune you will have that low rpm delay. I personally noticed that an up rev rom (back to stock) has more lag than the original nissan programming(stock) this due to a/f ratio is 14.7 till ~3k rpm also at WOT it hits 11.7 a/f ratio cuz if u put wrong fuel it wont do too much engine damage.

I reset my ecu a few dsys ago to clear the long term fuel trims and this happened to me testing a 0-60 run where my 60 ft was 2.7 instead of much quicker. I pushed it to mid throttle from dead stop and big bog. I have never experienced this before ftom line in heat. Im hoping its because of the reser of ecu and will get back to normal after it lears some more driving
