you do realize you can purchase 370z's on the bay...its not like its all bad...

granted there are some crooks out there looking to scam ebayers, but for the most part its where ive found the best deals on both name brand items as well as no name brands...which for all intents and purposes, come from the same factories in China that produce the bulk of materials made and shipped from china...

and if i can save 175 bucks off a "name brand" shifter then hell ya im gonna buy it...thats 175 bones i can use for another mod

For the most part I agree, but you have to be selective... There is some pretty good stuff coming out of the Far East for not a lot of money. Some junk too. The Chinese are masters at cloning stuff... The Boxster shifter I bought for well less than 1/2 the cost of a B&M was really excellent, both in finish and operation...you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between them..

Since you didn't get it, I'm not talking about branded products. A given SLP exhaust system off an eBay store is the same as any reputably retailer. I'm talking about the knockoff, no-name, bottom-of-the-barrel garbage that is sold on eBay as well. I call it eBay crap.

Now, if you'll excuse me, it's my girlfriend's birthday next week. I'm about to bid on some Tiffany jewelry going for $400 cheaper than in-store!

i will...i am going to wait for my FI CBE and do the installations at the same time since i'll need to get up under it to get to the shifter as well...

and from what i can tell from their webset, installation instructions and other pictures...it is an exact copy.

i cant find any structural differences...im sure i will still have to file down the shifter housing as per b&m's instructions in order for the shifter to engage reverse...

Gullible is only one of the many words I can call you if my sarcasm went straight over your head.

kdo2milger, thanks for the references, but I never buy goods from unothorized retailers. Good luck with the shifter.

oh it's a replica :P no wonder it wasn't 200 bucks lol.
I've actually never bought replica parts for my car before.
always afraid they might break easily.
i wonder if there are these issues?

angie*

its made with 6061 T6 aluminum and 303 stainless steel, same as B&M. So im not worried about quality issues...the shifter quality is good!

only thing mine didnt come with is the little packet of grease, no biggie there as i already have what i need for the install...
