Porting Throttle bodies?

I guess my main question here is a tune in need after i port them?

Anyone done this? seen gains?

I plan to port mine. Bought an extra set and am going to send them to max bore. I plan to get a retune on.

Only member that got this done that I know of was Megan Z. I think he reported gains of 7-10WHP.

gain of 7-9whp was reported twice on a fully custom/bolt-on setup.

the TB were bored to 62.5mm,
the butterfly plate was arrow edged
half of the shaft was cut (only 1 side remained)
both screw were filed down.

you will need a bigger MAF Tube if you do this. not sure about stillen diameter. my cai was custom.

depend if you can do it yourself or not.
anything between 0-600$ for the job on the TBs and yes I would advise for a tune, ofcourse if paired with a bigger MAF Tube.

Im running Z1 tubes with stock air boxes. Im wondering if any one can do a DIY on porting these????

7-10WHP gains seem legit to me

It's not going to be 7-10whp on the setup you've got. Megan had a lot more done to the intake tract, and it needs to be tuned for the larger diameter MAF. Also, if you mess up a throttle body trying to DIY a port and polish job, expect to get fisted. Those things are not cheap.
