From talking with both Nissan Motorsports and Stillen, the assumption is that the noise is some how related to the oil pump?? The Aeroquip Socketless hose we offer in our kit addresses this problem as well as makes installation (i.e, hose routing) alot easier.

And for you guys looking to build your own kits, I highly recommend the Aeroquip Socketless Hose. Trying to cut and install this hose is alot simplier and less harazdous to your hands and fingers when cutting. Anyone who has installed AN- Fittings on SS Line knows it is a PITA, especially on smaller diameters.

strongly with Dustin here...Having built many braided lines, and now the Socketless for my DIY cooler, I'll never go back. Easy routing, easy assembly. On the car for 3K miles now with no issues whatsoever..
