Oil comes out of engine, into reloc plate, then on to the filter. From there the oil goes through the cooler and back to the reloc late. Did I get that right? What I would suggest is stacking the thermoplate and reloc plate at the engine. Run the cooler lines to the thermoplate. Run the lines coming out of the reloc plate to the remote plate (just as if there was no cooler). Or you could stack the thermo to the remote plate. Either way, you'll have to repipe the cooler.
