Default Password JDM cooling plate install

Hi I bought a PWJDM cooling plate and was a bit surprised
It has less than half of the mounting holes that the OEM one does
It covers up the windshield washer reservoir fill cap
and it looks like I will have to get the dremel out to modify
the center section as it is too narrow to fit over the radiator brace

Has anyone else had these issues.

I thought pwjdm was a quality manufacturer

So far I have had poor quality from several aftermarket parts manufacturers
Seibon is pure crap I bought a lip and 3 times it came cracked
I bought a Greddy cat back and it doesn't have an expandable section so when it gets hot the pipe grows in length and the resonator hits my sway bar
now this from PWJdm

Yes they have known fit issues.

Removing 4 pins is easy when you need to refill/check your washer fluid. Others have cut it out like you mentioned.

It's not just 4 pins It's 7 (and another 5 if you drill the holes for the original fasteners along the leading edge as shown in their photo) then you would have to pry it out from under the bumper cover to remove it. Not very convienent here in NJ Maybe SoCal. You may be thinking of the battery and brake fluid covers.
I had heard and they mention fitment issues with the Nismo none for the stock Z?

That's what one of the vendors here told me as well. Looks like they still fit as badly as they used to and someone was just trying to sell me something.

PWJDM is not JDM at all when it comes to fitment or vendor reliability...from wat we've seen so far from them.

I'm well aware of how that piece is removed. It takes no more than 5 minutes to remove it even with 7 fasteners.

I made my own carbon fiber rad cover,

It's ok . People want/expect this stuff for next to nothing and I won't work for free. My time is worth more than that.

I don't understand that. JDM = Japanese Domestic Market. That doesn't really have anything to do with fitment or reliability, just where some piece of metal was made.

I always wondered in Japan if they really wanted APC and JCW parts because they were USDM haha.
