I laugh when I see people who own 300+hp cars put down speed. Sell it please and do us all a favor and drive something that doesnt scare you or intimidate you at 1/3 throttle.
I don't think anyone is scared of speed or putting it down. You tout driver skill and attentiveness/responsibility. Well using cruise control at those high rates of speeds is the exact opposite of that. I Agree with others, 100 is nothing for this car but its better to do it without cruise control because you have more control as the driver that way.

So I engage the cruise control and turn off my brain and forget where the brake pedal is. Really?? My hands are also still on the wheel as well. Its about as unsafe as not using it is.
Cruise control saves driver fatigue as well. That also matters. Maintaining speed with your foot or cruise control is the same thing. Cruise control in my GTI here engages at all speeds. Clearly the Germans think otherwise on the issue and rightfully so.

Driving in Europe and driving in the US are two different things. In the US, you have people reading book, newspapers, etc.. I've seen women putting on makeup, men shaving, you name it. And if you can believe it, talking or texting on a cell phone. Yes, it's true, it's not against the law in the US, in some places!

I've driven on the autobahn. People there know how to drive, but I still wouldn't use cruise control at over 100 mph. And I'd love to see your research into how using cruise control saves driver fatigue.

Sounds like your brain has been turned off by your ego already without the cruise control. Simple fact of the matter is cruise control at high speeds removes control from the driver and places it in the hands of a computer.
