rattling noise during 1st gear

I been noticing rattling noise during 1st gear when I take off on low rpm.. noise go away when I press down on the gas pedal and pick up speed.

Default rattling noise during 1st gear

I been noticing rattling noise during 1st gear when I take off on low rpm.. noise go away when I press down on the gas pedal and pick up speed. Its only happen in 1st gear. Anyone experience this? My car have 16K miles and its a manual transmission.

I think that's normal if just gently taking off without giving much gas. Try increasing revs as you launch and see if it goes away.

I still don't think it's normal since the rattling noise only occurs on the 1st gear. I can understand when we "accidently" launch on 2nd or 3rd gear then the rattle is normal.

I hear the noise too, and not just in first gear. Its usually when the RPMS are low and there is load on the trans ie driving around a parking lot while in 2nd gear.

Transmissions in these cars are loud. I think better gear oil should help. I'm gonna do my grear oil change when I upgrade clutch&flywheel.

Nothing surprises me about our manual transmission anymore. I just wish it could pop popcorn when I'm driving.

I changed the clutch and trans oil with Redline. Still rattling
