Thanks for doing an experimental rebuild on my time Nissan if your reading this. Your handling of this situation has been absolutely dismal.
... Sorry brother... NNA really hasn't done crap for you?

They don't send fully assembled shortblocks any more? Normally the manufacture builds the short / long block to make sure pistons, rings, and rods are properly sized and torqued. It lessens the room for error down the road.

They do, and I think OP means CAMshaft? (From when I talked to him)

I edited my post... yea it was a camshaft not a crank shaft. If they had just shipped an assembled motor and dropped it into my car and rebuilt the faulty one on their own time there would have been no problems and I would have been driving my car a month and a half ago.

And yea DePoint, they know who I am now and when I call I just get the run around. Nissan 'service' is more about redirection rather then doing anything.

They need to buy your car back or get you a new one. That's quite a bit of down time. You're making monthly payments on a paper weight.

It's time to start harrassing Nissan Canada on a daily basis and making noise about loss of use, and loss of value and whatever **** you can think of.

Other than picketing and calling the media, I can't think of much else........

this is bull crap

Which dealership is this again?

Throw the car on a trailer and park it outside the dealership with a sign that says Nissan sucks, or something to that effect. It has worked in the past.

This is actually a good idea. Nissan Inc.Might not care that it's on the local news but the dealer owners and General manager will. our local station here has a guy that goes out and follows up on complaints with big business. generally if its a sales type business they will comply and make the changes to look good on the report. they will state that it was some sort of oversight but that they are big on customer service and value the customer blah blah blah. When we know that's BS but it gets the car fixed.

LOL, we live in Canada and are expected to accept a "sorry" and then forget about the lack of action by Nissan Canada and the dealership. It's somehow now become a part of our culture to apologize to everyone and everything. BS! No wonder I get so bitter at times.

Yea we have no lemon laws or actions for recourse. that is why I am just being blown off. I have been thinking about getting the media involved in some way. We will see what they say about this latest "issue" I just want my car back and it should be ready soon. If it turns into another month to solve this issue i'm going to start raising hell.

Is this place one of the "Go Auto" dealership chains?

If so, they don't like any negative media attention, or even of you thinking of it.

I would be SO pissed off that I would complain about every little thing and make them want to buy you out to save Nissan some monies.

On a side note: have you talked to a arbitrator with Nissan or at least a lawyer, to know what your rights are, as when I think about it, I'm really not sure what your rights are.

Yes this is a go auto dealership (Erricksen Nissan)... I've been thinking about talking with a lawyer. Really not sure what to do at this point

Well the driver's side mirror is not working... and the TPMS system is already malfunctioning. Seems solid besides that.. engine sounds good.
