You have a upper and lower control arm with a steering knuckle sandwiched between with ball joints. The steering knuckle has the wheel bearing bolted to it, and is connected to the steering rack via a tie rod. There are no axles in the front, even though there are cut outs in the firewall for them (possibly due to having shared components with the G37).
