Constant clicking noise when turning the steering wheel...

It started to get worse last week. I hear a clicking sound when I turn the steering wheel. It feels fine.

Ideas? The only modification I can think of is the GTM joint for the steering shaft.

cv axel = you turn and hear clicking. Check to see if one of the boots is torn on your cv axel. Now i just got my car and have not fully inspected it yet. but i believe our cars have independent suspenshion which would then have cv axel please correct me if im wrong.

we dont have cv axles in the front, only in the rear and they aren't likely to make noise when turning.

Can you better explain the clicking noise Digi?

Thanks for the education u joint in the front cv in the rear got it.

no u-joint in the front either. U-joint is in the driveshaft.

Do you think the 1" drop and slight camber had an adverse effect on the joints?

It's a dry metallic clicking noise sort of the noise you hear when old springs compress and decompress.

After visiting the dealer, it was concluded the noise was coming from the power steering assembly. A new one is on the way.

At first we thought it was coming from the GTM steering coupler, and spraying it down did not fix the noise.
